The EuroCC4SEE project (European Competence Centers for Southeast Europe) is a EuroHPC-funded program designed to build and enhance National Competence Centers (NCCs) specializing in high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance data analytics (HPDA) throughout Southeastern Europe. It is a regional extension and continuation of the EuroCC 2 initiative. Co-financed by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and the EU's Digital Europe program, the project runs from 1 April 2024, to 31 December 2025, focusing specifically on Southeast European countries such as Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkey.

In an interview, Dr. Nadja Schauffler from the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (EuroCC4SEE coordinating institution) described EuroCC4SEE as the sister project to EuroCC 2, both funded by the European Commission through the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and involving a consortium of 33 countries, each hosting a National Competence Centre (NCC) for high-performance computing (HPC). As she explained, "While EuroCC 2 included four associated countries - Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Turkey - these were not eligible for direct funding, which led to the launch of EuroCC4SEE to support South-Eastern Europe specifically". She noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina has since joined as the newest NCC. The project’s mission, she emphasized, is "to support the uptake of HPC, high-performance data analytics, and artificial intelligence across Europe", while promoting cross-border collaboration, knowledge sharing, and providing users from industry, academia, and public administration with streamlined access to both national and European expertise.
