The Czech National Competence Center in HPC, in collaboration with IT4Innovations, is hosting an online training session on Quantum Machine Learning (QML). This course aims to examine the intersection of quantum computing and machine learning. It is scheduled for 21 October 2025.
During the event, the program will showcase the unique advantages and potential uses of merging quantum computing with machine learning. It will start with a basic overview of quantum computing and variational quantum algorithms. The course will then explain parameterized quantum circuits and their applications in quantum classification and regression. Next, it will focus on the quantum kernels used in support vector machines. The session will conclude with an introduction to the quantum approach to unsupervised machine learning. Each section will include practical exercises to help participants better grasp the concepts discussed.
