Coherent control of light-driven electrons in solids

Online NCC Czechia QC

The Czech National Competence Center in HPC is hosting the Quantum Computing Seminar titled Coherent Control of Light-Driven Electrons in Solids: A Milestone for Multiqubit Computing? The seminar will be held both online and onsite at IT4Innovations on 26 September 2024.

Explore the world of ultrafast photonics in this event, where cutting-edge supercomputing and ultrafast harmonic spectroscopy experiments reveal unprecedented precision in predictions. Using time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT), the presenters will delve into photon emission spectra, the origins of harmonic emissions, and electron coherence in laser fields. Discover how controlling light-matter interactions at the quantum level can lead to advancements in petahertz switches and multi-qubit architectures.
