Parallelization with MPI
A two-day online seminar on parallelization with MPI will be held on 16-17 July 2026 by Austrian Scientific Computing (ASC), High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) and EuroCC Austria.
On clusters and distributed memory architectures, parallel programming with the Message Passing Interface (MPI) is the dominant programming model. This 2 half-days course teaches parallel programming with MPI starting from an intermediate level, it builds on the knowledge gained in the course Parallelization with MPI (Beginner). Hands-on sessions (in C, Fortran, and Python) allow you to immediately test and understand the constructs of the MPI.
