Following a summer break, NCC Czechia is restarting its Quantum Computing Seminar series. The next seminar will be held in a hybrid format on 25 September 2025, and will focus on Quantum Gate Neural Networks.

Specifically, the seminar will delve into using neural networks within quantum computing frameworks. It starts with a review of classical neural networks, then introduces quantum-inspired soft computing, including creating a quantum neuron model and the Quantum-Inspired Backpropagation Neural Network (QBPNN) architecture. Key topics include how QBPNN works, its quantum backpropagation algorithm, and its applications for image denoising and deblurring compared to classical Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) architectures. The talk also explores the TensorFlow Quantum Framework (TQF), Parameterized Quantum Circuits (PQCs), and Quantum Convolutional Neural Networks (QCNNs). It wraps up by highlighting the benefits of Quantum Neural Networks (QNNs) over classical approaches, offering a glimpse into the future of quantum computing in machine learning.
