The webinar on high-performance computing (HPC) software will take place on 27 May 2026 as part of the fifth edition of the Italy-Germany Webinar Series, titled High Performance Computing: A Gateway to Next-Generation Research.
This event represents the third webinar in a series running through 1 July 2026. Organized by the International Relations Office of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), the series is supported by the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) and the Office of the Science Attaché of the Italian Embassy in Berlin.
The webinar will focus on modern HPC software ecosystems, development tools, and programming approaches that enable researchers to efficiently utilize current and emerging supercomputing infrastructures. Participants will gain insights into software portability, scalability, performance optimization, and best practices for developing scientific applications targeting heterogeneous HPC architectures.
